This ivy covered ruin is situated about 6 miles from the city of Cork and was erected in the fifteenth century by Cormack McCarthy This photograph shows the “Blarney Stone” which is renowned throughout the world for its power to endow the person who kisses it, with such persuasive eloquence that no lady can resist him.
